This policy covers smartlocksuk.com. It is written to be read, not to be survived — if anything here is unclear, ask and we will explain it plainly.
Who is responsible for your data
SmartLocksUK is a trading name of Henry Dennis, who is the data controller for this site. You can reach us about anything in this policy through our contact page.
What we collect
- What you send us. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message. We keep these so we can reply and so we have a record of the correspondence.
- No analytics at all. We do not currently run Google Analytics or any other visitor tracking on this site, so there is no tracking cookie and nothing to consent to.
- Spam protection. The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks the submission is not automated.
We do not sell anything on this site, so we never take payment details. We do not sell, rent or share your data with anyone for marketing.
Who processes it for us
- Cloudflare — content delivery and spam protection for the site.
- Mailgun — delivers the notification email when you use the contact form.
- DigitalOcean — hosts the site and its database, in London.
How long we keep it
Contact form correspondence is kept for up to two years, then deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Ask through the contact page and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Because we run no analytics, there is nothing to ask you to consent to and no cookie banner.
